something interesting about OT (occupational therapy)
Today we had a class where we analyzed part of the bases of a chilean istitution called FONADIS (fondo nacional de la discapacidad). This institution helps disabled people to get a work. They are not a kind of work agency.
Anyone can make a project trying to reach this integrative objective, following the rules in the bases and apply. If you get it, they finance your project and a handiccaped person may have a chance to work and feel usefull for himself and for society.
I think so many times people were born with some physical problem, or they lose some function or part of their body, and they automatically receive the sign of "disabled" on their front. But that is a negative sight of this persons. Possibly they can´t make some specific things, or maybe it is just a little bit harder for them, but they do can make a lot of things, and is not fair that society deny them all possibilities of doing what they really can and want to do.

what is something I should throw away, but can´t?
Well... when I was a child I always kept everything, and then a few years later I found those things and noticed that they were totally useless, or the things have damaged with the passing of time... Or sometimes, when I needed some of the things I had, I never could find them, so once I noticed it was totally usefull, and decided not to keep useless things anymore, except for the things that really had some sentimental value to me. And when I wasn´t sure of keeping it or throwing it away, I just kept it untill I was sure it didn´t mean anything for me, and I´d just forget it.
That´s why I think today I don´t have too many things I should throw away, but there are some things in my closet wich I haven´t even looked for years.... or some things from my university I have too messed up, wich certainly contains papers or documents I will never read again that I should definetely throw away...
That´s all folks =)
